This is a video of the book studio progress from the first of December 2019. There is a full basement underneath with stairs in the back and a wide open space for lifting heavy equipment down into the basement. There is enough space for my bookbinding work as well as for a Vandercook and other necessary equipment to run with my ideas for a press. The contractors are working on adequate ventilation, lighting, and supporting the weight of the equipment on the main level. The studio should be completed by this summer and ready for some of the equipment to start moving in.
