I have to teach myself how to create a process of bookbinding where I can produce 20 or more copies of the same book for a limited edition. There is a significant difference between making one or two design bindings and creating the same binding multiple times. I did something like this with the 15 copies of the last Haiku book project, but that was a much smaller book compared to this project.

In April, I am going to make a trip over to Berkeley to visit John DeMerritt’s bindery where he produces limited edition bookbinding and see how a master bookbinder does this process.
